I have always wanted to get a label maker. The biggest thing that I wanted to try using them for is to organize stuff in my house. I want to organize all my things in plastic bins and label them so stuff is easy to find when I am looking for something.
I got one in my house, using it to label my stuff in the kitchen and my children things. i must say dymo label maker really worth buying!
DYMO label makers are actually pretty good, I had a roommate my freshman year who had a label maker, and I used it to label some of my belongings, pretty fun to play with too
