It is known that the biggest % of your website traffic comes from Top Search Engines.So what about web directories? Is submitting your site to them a waste of time?
It is right that directories usually don’t deliver a lot of traffic to your site, but they increase your back links to your site, which increases your site’s link popularity - a very important factor used by search engines to rank websites.

Thats very true that they don’t send you much traffic but backlinks will lead to more traffic. I have a link site you can post a reciprocal link on for free or for a small fee, non reciprocal, featured or sponsored. Non reciprical is better because it does not reduce your rating due to you having more outgoing links from your site but any backlink is generally good news.
