When thinking of promoting your web site or blog, the first idea that come to your mind is promoting it online. While most of your promotion is online, with different strategies and techniques, you should not underestimate the value of offline promotion.

Here Are Some Offline Promotion Ideas:

- Business Cards:

Any business man have his business card, with his address, contact info, and his company name. Well as a webmaster your business card should have your site on it, plus maybe a line or two of discretion. You may add a logo for your site to appear more professional.

Business cards are inexpensive and great promotional tools.

- Make Your Own Promotional Items:

Yes, you can make your own promotion items such as; pens, T-shirts, etc.. with your logo (site’s name) on it.

They are a really effective offline promotion item because they’re inexpensive to produce. For example you can get a pen with your logo on it for about $0.29 to $0.85 per pen! While many people throw away business cards, most will keep a pen or T-shirt.

- Buy A Car’s Ad:

As in online advertising you may consider buying an ad on a web site, for offline advertising that will get you the same results, is buying an ad on a car. There are companies that offers these services, and it’s an excellent way to blow your traffic.

- Get The Newspapers To Write About You:

Try to get a local newspaper to write about you. They are always looking for stories, so make an exciting introduction for your site that will make them interested to write about you, then send it on a letter to the newspaper editor.

This could be hard, but if you could get interviewed by a TV show that is about your site, this will be great!
